Good morning, the risk of fire during construction requires a continual and intentional assessment from project pursuit through warranty.  Once assessed, the development of mitigation strategies and application of best management practices must be established and maintained.  So where do we start?

The Rhode Island Fire Code click here has incorporated NFPA 1 – 2018 Edition in Chapter 7.  The NFPA 1 – 2018 edition contains a listing of references, NFPA 241 – 2013 Edition is included in that listing.  Chapter 16 “safeguarding construction, alteration, and demolition operations states “…shall comply with NFPA 241 and this chapter.”.
